John of God (João Teixeira de Faria)
Rhinebeck, New York

September 29-30 and October 1-2, 2008

John of God, September 29-30 and October 1-2, 2008 at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY. This three-day event is a rare opportunity to experience what John of God offers at his Brazilian sanctuary Casa de Dom Inácio, where millions from around the world have gone for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.

Since 1977, Omega Institute for Holistic Studies has sponsored many of the world's leading presenters at interfaith religious retreats and events exploring complementary medicine and wellness, indigenous cultural traditions, and sustainability and the environment.

Considered to be one of the world's most extraordinary healers, John of God brings humility and dignity to his work saying, "It is not me who cures, God is the Healer, I am simply the vessel."   Read about John of God at Wikipedia.org

I'd like to see some documented evidence. If he's that good, we have camera's and before and after x-ray shots.... can't this be proven for once and for all?

if this is the same kind of "pyschic" surgery that involves the "healer" looking like he is putting his fingers into a person's body and drawing out pieces of tumors and such--it's a scam. Complete sleight of hand. Unfortunately.

I don't think this is that type of psychic surgery.

I don't know if they are all scams though. We can make surgery look real on tv too, does that make all surgery a scam because it looks real?
