Actually he was speaking as the "Christ" not as Jesus. He means that the only way to god is is through the Christ Consciousness. Anyone can reach that level. Don;t forget, there was no such thing as Christianity for hundreds of years after his death. How could he have meant it any other way? Jesus led by example. He was trying to tell everyone that they too can develop to that degree.

Without a very good understanding of the Kaballah, I don't know how these idiots can interpret the bible. Jesus was a Kabbalist and much of what was written in the bible was written in "parables" using numerology etc. For instance 40 days and 40 nights hasa Kabbalistic meaning. The earth being created in 7 days was also written with a different meaning in mind.

Oprah is correct, there is not one way to God, but many. If the only way to God was through Jesus, what about all the people who were here on earth before Jesus was born? They all went to hell simply because God didn't have a son yet??? Ginmme a break.

What I don't like is that the church-people don't want us to ask any questions. We are supposed to believe what a few people wrote (and with that the bible became the biggest best-seller in the world). And if we ask questions it's standard answers like "he works in mysterious ways"...bs... I just found out about the movie Religulous. That seems to be a good one. Bill Maher does ask questions. But does he get answers?
I believe in what I believe in. I don't need no organized religion in my life. The word "God" gives me the creeps. And of course its a "he"...what else were those churchmen back then gonna say? That they pray to a woman? Naw...they burned the ones who were in their way.
Just leave me alone with that criminal organization called "church". Since the subject was brought up..... I'm tired of the Church people condeming everyone too. If everyone followed the following the 13 Wiccan principles, you can;t tell me this wouldn;t be ebetter world.

I think this what this video is saying about Oprah's beliefs is horrible. She is teaching more accurately the word of god and what the bible says than anyone. God teaches no judgement and love, she does that and people call her the devil? Why does she not have a right to believe in what she believes in? Most people believe in the bible because of fear of what might happen if they don't not because of research or facts. Man wrote the bible, Jesus didn't even write a verse so to judge her based on no facts that she is wrong is horrid.

To the Christians out there.... I understand your wanting to believe that the bible is a true chronological story of the history of the world, but it is not. The world is definitely older the 4,000 years. It's a small handful of stories that were chosen out of hundreds. The stories were not even left in their true form (they were edited). Some stories were left out on purpose (The Gospel of Mary Madelene) because they did not women to have that kind of power.

When I hear you preaching your tainted gospels, I can't help but think of you as mentally ill. I feel sorry for you because your spiritual growth is at a complete stand still. Do some research and see how you have been fooled.

what are all these folks doing on a psychic website if you are all into satan etc. the religions I know of that love satan (ie. fearing satan is the same as giving power to that entity...and I have come to understand that religions that fear satan are actually turning their power over to that entity that they profess to NOT want...but spent energy "bringing into their lives."
