I don't mean they are pissed as in "drunk" New laws have come out today in England which will put more stringent guidlines on what information psychics, mediums, and healers must give ot their clients. I'm sort of happy about this.
I believe that to charge for readings you must be certified in some way. Like Doctors, Lawyers, or any other professional you look for advice from. We need to find a way to get rid of the psychic frauds, and just plain "not very good" ones. They give the profession and all in it a bad name.
New consumer regulations that come into force today to protect the public from charlatans and sharp sales practices, have been welcomed as long overdue.
But the biggest shake up of consumer law in forty years has already deeply offended one section of the service industry - psychics and faith healers.
Under the new laws, they say they are being expected to tell customers that what they offer is `for entertainment only' and not `experimentally proven.
The huge psychic industry is bound by the new regulations because they can charge for seances, Tarot and other readings, and clairvoyance. >>Read Full Story
Press Release...Los Angeles, CA, May 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Author Jan Vandersande, Ph.D., is one of a growing number of scientists who has witnessed hard evidence of life after death. In his book, Life after Death: Some of the Best Evidence, readers are taken into the fascinating world of séances and sittings where Vandersande, his wife, and close friends experienced other-worldly phenomena first-hand with genuine trance mediums and channelers.
“What happens after we die?” is a question that human beings have asked since time immemorial, and especially during the past two centuries, in-depth investigations have taken place throughout the world. For Jan Vandersande, interest in religion, philosophy, and questions about life and death began in his freshman year at Swarthmore; and even though he occasionally read a book on psychic phenomena, the time was not truly ripe for his paranormal education to begin. Continuing his formal education at Cornell University, he graduated with a master’s degree in physics.
I was pretty surprised to see James Van Praagh, one of the world's most renowned psychic mediums on the Dr Phil Show the other day. I always thought of Dr Phil as being a little left brained and skeptical. He actually did keep somewhat of a skeptic's glare on James throughout the show.

James was there promoting his new book (Ghosts Among Us), which does actually sound very interesting to me. He even includes a section in the book teaching you how to connect with ghosts and spirits on your own!
On this episode of Dr. Phil, Van Praagh talked to people who either just believed in ghosts, and an extreme of one who let the spirit world rule her life. He also gave audience members some readings, and gave a pretty impressive reading to a woman who's "ghost" had been shot in the head.
There was also some footage from Ghost Whisperer, and some commentary from Jennifer Love Hewitt. She describes some very real and unexplained spooky events that have occurred during filming of the series. Jennifer is a true believer of ghosts!

Mazzy Star
This is the begining of a song called "Fade into you" by the band Mazzy Star. The first few lines seem like it could be from the point of view of a person speaking to someone's higher self or guide. Do you think? Click below to hear the song.
